Our Story

“It has been quite the journey bringing Siddhartha’s Garden to life,” says founder Corey Janecek.

Like many meaningful things in life, the Garden did not begin as a business plan. It began as a question — a quiet search for a place where nourishment, community, and healing could exist together.

For many years, Corey worked as a massage therapist, caring for thousands of people seeking relief from the pressures of modern life. In those quiet treatment rooms, one truth became clear again and again: people were not only searching for physical healing, but for peace, connection, and spaces where they could simply slow down and breathe.

Life has a way of guiding us through unexpected paths. In 2021, after receiving a diagnosis related to fatty liver disease, Corey was faced with a moment that called for deep change. Through a radical shift in lifestyle — embracing whole foods, mindfulness, and a new perception of what it means to live consciously — a personal journey of healing began.

From that journey, the seed of Siddhartha’s Garden was planted.

What began as a small café devoted to wholesome food and mindful hospitality, slowly grew into something more. The Garden revealed itself as a place where people could gather not only to eat, but to reconnect with themselves and with one another.

Over time, it became clear that the Garden was not meant to belong to any single person. It was becoming a living ecosystem — a space where transformation could take root.

One of the most meaningful examples of this unfolding story has been the journey of Brian.

Brian first arrived at the Garden as a participant in one of the early detox and rejuvenation cleanses. At the time, he was navigating a profound challenge after being diagnosed with stage 4 liver cirrhosis. What began as a step toward healing soon became something deeper.

Through dedication, discipline, and a sincere desire to realign his life, Brian embraced the principles of wellness and conscious living that the Garden represents. The very environment of the Garden — its community, its philosophy, and its practices — became a place where he could rebuild his life.

His journey from cleanse participant to legacy founder partner is a testament to the power of transformation through service, intention, and community.

Today, Brian stands alongside Corey as a steward of the Garden’s mission, helping cultivate a space where others may also rediscover balance, vitality, and purpose.

Siddhartha’s Garden now exists as a living sanctuary — a place where nourishing food, mindful experiences, and human connection come together beneath the simple idea that healing is possible.

Like any true garden, it continues to grow in ways none of us could fully predict.

Our role is simply to tend the soil, care for what has been planted, and allow something beautiful to flourish for all who enter.
